15 oz Garbanzo beans - (1 can) rinsed, drained
2 x Garlic cloves
1 x Green onion cut into 1" pieces
2 tbl Fresh lemon juice
1 tbl Extra-virgin olive oil
1/4 tsp Salt
1/8 tsp Freshly-ground black pepper
Instructions:
Instructions: Process all the ingredients in a food processor or blender until smooth. Transfer to a serving bowl. The spread will keep for several days in the refrigerator.

This recipe yields about 1 1/2 cups of spread.

Cooks Tip: Spice up this basic spread by adding your favorite spice or herb. Cumin or curry adds wonderful flavor. Add chopped fresh herbs for a great herbal spread.
