Ingredients:
Amount Ingredient
5 cup Water
3 cup Chopped onion
2 cup Diced cooked ham
1 cup Diced carrot
1 tsp Dried rosemary, crushed
3/4 tsp Rubbed sage
1/4 tsp Pepper
1 lb Dried lentils
1/4 oz Fat-free beef broth, (1 can)
2 x Cloves garlic, chopped
1 x Bay leaf
Instructions:
Instructions: Combine first 11 ingredients in an electric slow cooker. Cover with lid, and cook on high-heat setting for 3 hours or until lentils are tender.

Discard bay leaf.

Yield: 11 servings (serving size: 1 cup).

Serving Ideas : Garnish with parsley, if desired.
