Instructions: Equally divide the shrimp among the skewers; place on a plate and set aside.
In a medium saucepan, combine the butter, honey, lime juice, ground red pepper, lime peel, and salt over medium heat until the butter is melted, stirring constantly. Remove 1/2 cup of the sauce mixture and brush both sides of the shrimp skewers with it; set aside the remaining sauce in the saucepan. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat; add the shrimp skewers and cook for 2 minutes. Brush the shrimp with any remaining sauce from the 1/2 cup. Cook the shrimp an additional 2 to 3 minutes, or until pink and fully cooked. Remove to a platter. Heat the reserved sauce in the saucepan and pour over the skewers. Serve immediately.
