Instructions: Cream butter and sugar. Add egg and beat until creamy. Sift dry ingredients together and add to egg mixture. Stir. Add chopped nuts and apples. Bake in a 7 x 11" greased pan at 350 about 40 mins. Cool in pan and cut into squares. Serve alone or with better yet, with a nice french vanilla ice cream
