4 x fresh garlic cloves - (to 6)
Olive oil as needed
4 tbl butter - (to 5 tbspns)
2 x handfuls chopped fresh parsley
2 tbl basil
2 can minced clams
1 lrg can tomato sauce
Freshly-ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
Instructions: Mince garlic. Cover bottom of saucepan with oil and brown garlic. Add butter and melt. Add parsley, basil, and pepper; stir well. Add clams and tomato sauce. Stir well and cover. Let sauce simmer 20 minutes. Pour over cooked linguine.

This recipe yields 4 servings.
