Instructions: Place clams and the next 5 ingredients in a large saucepan; simmer over low heat for 15 - 20 minutes. Combine cornstarch and cream and add to clam mixture. Add salt and pepper to taste and stir until mixture thickens. Cook the linguini until "al dente" and pour clam sauce over the pasta. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese before serving.
