Instructions: Makes 2 dozen or more
Beat egg whites with salt until foamy. (in small bowl, blend jello powder with sugar) Add to egg whites gradually. and beat until stiff peaks form and sugar is dissolved. Mix in vinegar. Fold in chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet which has been lined with brown paper. Bake 25 minutes in preheated 250 oven. Turn oven off BUT DO NOT OPEN OVEN DOOR! Leave in oven another 20 minutes to dry cookies. These are so pretty to serve during the holidays. They DO NOT freeze well though. Keep stored in tightly covered container.
