Instructions: Put yeast in warm water, then add warm milk. Blend together butter, sugar and eggs. Put in nutmeg and flavoring. Put in yeast and 3 cups flour until easy to handle. Knead in flour until not sticky. Put in warm place and let rise until double (about one hour). Roll or pat out and cut. Let rise again 20 minutes. Fry in deep fat.
