1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup bran flake cereal, crushed
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup skim milk
2 x eggs
1 x carrot, shredded
1 lrg ripe banana, mashed
Instructions:
Instructions: Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly grease and 8-inch square baking pan. In medium bowl, combine flour, cereal, brown sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda and salt; mix well. In a small bowl, combine milk, eggs, carrot, banana and walnuts. Add to dry ingredients, mixing well.

Spoon batter into pan. Bake 25 to 35 minutes, or until browned. Cool in pan on wire rack. Cut into 12 bars.
