Instructions: Cream sugar and butter. Work in flour. (I use my hands). Add vanilla and nuts. Shape into walnut size balls. Make hole in center; fill with jelly or preserves. Bake 325 or 300 for 10-20 minutes. Roll in powdered sugar.
