1/2 lb ground beef - (to 3/4 lb)
1 x onion sliced
2 cup chicken or beef broth
3 cup tomato juice
1 can cream of tomato soup - (11 oz)
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp sugar
5 cup shredded or diced cabbage - (to 6 cups)
Salt to taste
Instructions:
Instructions: Saute ground beef in large pot over medium-high heat until browned, 5 minutes. Add onion and cook until translucent, 5 minutes. Add broth, tomato juice, tomato soup, garlic powder, sugar, cabbage and salt and pepper to taste. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer until cabbage is very tender, about 20 to 30 minutes.

This recipe yields 8 servings.
