1 lb elbow macaroni
1 med onion, chopped
1 lb ground beef, cooked and drained
1 x (28 oz.) can Italian tomatoes with liquid, broken up (may want to add 1
smaller
can, too...drain and reserve liquid, in case it is needed)
Salt and pepper
Instructions:
Instructions: Cook macaroni until just tender. Brown beef with onions and drain. Mix macaroni, meat and tomatoes, season. Pour half into a lightly buttered casserole and top with half of cheese. Add remainder of mixture and top with remainder of cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Variations: You can add oregano, chopped garlic, Italian seasoning, etc.
