Yield:
2 x 448g loaves
Ingredients:
Amount Ingredient
28 gm butter
1 x onionfinely chopped
420 gm can mackerel in tomato sauce
196 gm can of tomatoes drained and roughly chopped
140 gm white breaderumbs
1 x salt and pepper
1 tsp lemon juice
2 tsp mixed herbs dried
1 tbl fresh parsley finely chopped
125 ml milk

I Melt butter add onions and cook until soft 2 Add mackerel tomatoes breadcrumbs seasoning lemon juice and herbs 3 Mix together well
4 Add milk and egg to rest of ingredients 5 Place into well greased loaf tin
6 Serve either hot or cold as a main course or starter

servings: 2 x 448g loaves
small oven: 180 degrees C approx 1 1 1/2 hours PRE HEATED bottom shelf
fan oven: 170 degrees C approx 1 I l/2 hours COLD START
