Instructions: From Polich Calendar

Beat 3 egg whites in a double boiler with 1 1/4 pounds powdered sugar, sifted. Stir in 1/2 cup ground walnuts or almonds, mix and spoon mixture on baking sheet. Dry in 250 degree oven for 1 hour.
