Instructions: Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems. Save them for another use. In a skillet, heat 1/4 c. of the butter and then brush it over the caps, inside and out to coat them well. Set them aside. In a bowl, combine the remaining ingredients. Place the caps on a baking sheet and mound them with the filling, pressing the filling in lightly. Place them under a preheated broiler, 6" from the heat and broil about 3 minutes until they are bubbly and browned. Serve warm. These can be made up to a day ahead and broiled at the last minute. Just add a couple of minutes to the cooking time.
