Instructions: The original recipe was for rhubarb. We grew it in Iowa and havent had it since, but Im growing it since we moved to Tennessee. Almost any fruit will do. This is the original recipe. I use it often in the fall with apples.

In large greased baking dish, arrange the ingredients in the order listed:
Sprinkle 1/2 box cake mix on top. Drizzle 1 stick oleo, melted, over all.

Bake at 350 about 40 minutes. Serve warm or cold. Good with ice cream.

Follow directions above. Dot about 3 tablespoons cold butter, cut into small bits over top before baking.
