Instructions: Cream sugar and shortening at medium speed of a mixer until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes. Add syrup, vanilla, and eggs; beat until well blended. Combine oats and next 4 ingredients; stir well. Add to creamed mixture, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened.
Pour batter into a 9 x 13 pan coated with cooking spray. Bake at 350 F. for 40 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Makes 24. Email this Recipe:
