Instructions: Mix together all ingredients except shortening. Heat shortening and drop potatoes by tablespoonful and brown on both sides.

Note: Leftover mashed potatoes are unheard of in my house so I make up instant potatoes and it works just as well. I also use PAM on my griddle.
