Ingredients:

1/4 cup Lemon-lime carbonated beverage (like 7-up, or sprite)
1/4 cup Dry sherry
1/4 cup Soy sauce
3 tbl Sugar
3 tbl White vinegar
1/2 tsp Garlic powder
1/4 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Pepper
2 lb Sirloin steak, cut into 1" cubes
2 cup Cherry tomatoes
2 med Carrots, cut into eighths
1/2 lb Fresh mushroom caps
2 med Size green peppers, cut into 1" pieces

Instructions: Hi everyone!! Its summer (?!) in the United States, so heres one of my favorite grill recipes. It comes from Americas Best Recipes (Southern Living). Enjoy!

Combine first 8 ingredients in a large shallow bowl. Add beef cubes, cover and marinate in refrigerator 2 hours, stirring occasionally. Remove beef cubes from marinade, reserving marinade. Alternately thread beef cubes, tomatoes, onions, mushroom caps, green pepper and pineapple onto skewers.

Grill, covered, over medium-hot coals (350 degrees to 400 degrees) 10-12 minutes or to desired degree of doneness, turning and basting occasionally with reserved marinade.

Makes 4-5 servings.
