1 lb beef flank steak well trimmed,
and cut into 1" chunks
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp freshly-ground black pepper
4 med carrots cut into 1" pieces
2 lrg celery ribs cut into 1/2" slices
1 can condensed beef broth - (10 1/2 oz)
Instructions:
Instructions: In a medium bowl, combine the steak and flour; toss to coat well.

Coat a nonstick soup pot with nonstick cooking spray and heat over medium-high heat. Add the beef, sprinkle with the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Saute for 3 to 5 minutes, or until the steak is browned on all sides.

Add the carrots, celery, and broth; cover, reduce the heat to low, and simmer for 40 to 45 minutes. Add the potatoes; cover and simmer for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the potatoes are fork-tender.

This recipe yields 4 servings.
