Instructions: Melt the 4 T. butter in heavy frying pan. Add meat, onion, garlic and brown. Add 1/4 c. water and spices and adjust seasoning. Add paste and rest of water and stir until mixture boils. Cover pan and simmer about 1/2 hour. Stir occasionally. Allow to cool slightly and drain.
Take a 4 x 6 inch piece of dough and butter. Place 1 t. of filling at end of pastry, fold up once, and then turn in sides and roll. Brush with butter and place on cookie sheet. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 - 15 minutes. Serve warm. Email this Recipe:
