Instructions: Heat oil in a large pot, add meat and brown it, breaking it up with a spoon until crumbly. Add onions and cook 5 minutes. Add garlic, tomatoes and tomato paste, and cook 5 minutes. Add sugar and herbs, and season to taste with salt and pepper. Cook 20 minutes.
