Instructions: Heat oven to 400 degrees. Line 12 muffin cups with paper baking cups. In medium bowl, combine muffin mix, water, oil and egg; stir just until dry ingredients are moistened. DO NOT OVERMIX. Divide batter evenly into paper-lined cups.
Bake at 400 degrees for 15 to 17 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Immediately remove from pan. Serve warm. Yield: 12 muffins Start to Finish Time: "0:25" NOTES : HIGH Altitude Directions: Add 1/4 cup flour to dry mix. Bake as directed above. Kitchen Tip: When mixing muffins, be sure to stir just until ingredients are combined. Overmixing can cause tough muffins and muffin with "tunnels."
