1 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup confectioners sugar
1/4 cup flour, sifted
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup granulated sugar
Instructions:
Instructions: Beat butter at high speed till light and fluffy. At a low speed beat in sugar, flour, cinnamon, vanilla and salt until just combined. Dough will be stiff. Shape into ball, and wrap in waxed paper. Refrigerate 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Ball cookies into 1/4 inch balls, or if flat cookies are preferred, 1 inch balls, 1/4 inch thick. Place 1 1/2 inches apart on ungreased sheets. Bake 10 minutes, until cookies are golden or brown. Combine sugar and cinnamon. Roll hot cookies in mixture.

Place on wire rack to cool. Sprinkle with remaining mixture.

Yields 5 dozen ball cookies, 3 dozen flat.
