8 x -12 soy burgers OR 3 pounds ground beef
1 med onion, diced
24 oz tomato sauce
24 oz water
1/2 tbl oregano
1/2 tbl garlic salt
1/2 tbl chili powder
1 tbl whole cumin seed
1 tsp each pepper, salt (optional)
2 cup white rice (not minute rice)
Fritos corn chips

Shredded cheese
Shredded lettuce
Diced tomatoes
Olives
Green chilies
Instructions:
Instructions: In 12 inch skillet, brown soy burgers or meat and onion, then drain. Add tomato sauce and water. Add spices, mix well and bring to a boil. Add rice, stir and cover. Simmer, stirring occasionally, until the water is absorbed, about 30 minutes. To serve, cover the bottom of a plate with corn chips. Scoop about 1/2 cup of the curry on top. Add toppings such as cheese and lettuce to taste.
