Instructions: In 3-qt. glass bowl, cook syrup, sugar and hot water for 12 1/2 minutes on High until a fine thread forms. Add salt to egg whites and beat on high speed with electric mixer until stiff. Slowly pour hot syrup into egg whites, beating constantly until mixture loses shine and thickens.
Stir in vanilla and nuts. Drop by teaspoon onto wax paper or foil. Makes about 30. Email this Recipe:
