Instructions: Combine dry ingredients. Add shortening and mix until mixture resembles course cornmeal. Add egg and water. Mix till you can form a ball. Knead until smooth and elastic, roll on floured board to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut with cookie cutters. Place on cardboard. Microwave 5-6 minutes. Turn over and continue till crispy (3-4 more minutes). Cool on wire rack.
