Microwave uncovered on HIGH 4-5 minutes, stirring twice, until sugar is dissolved and marshmallows are melted. Stir in food color a little at a time until mixture is a bright green. Gradually pour over popped corn, tossing with a wooden spoon to coat evenly. Drop by handfuls in a wreath shape on the foil lined sheet. Press firmly with hands to mold.

Garnish with cherry halves. Let stand about 30 min till set. Store loosely covered in a cool dry place up to two weeks.

** I like to put a small ready made bow (that you can buy in packages of 12) at the top to give it that final touch and place on a Christmas paper plate and wrap with colored plastic wrap.

** You can also make individual popcorn balls from this recipe if you prefer.
