Instructions: I always cook corn on the cob in the microwave. I dont even bother to shuck it prior to cooking. I have had better luck cooking only 2 ears at at time, so I drop them in the oven, and turn on high power for 4-5 minutes. If I want more than 2 ears, I simply put the next two in for 4-5 minutes.

I then let the corn sit for several minutes until were ready to eat it. If its too hot to shuck, use oven mitts. The corn is much easier to shuck once its been cooked.

This is absolutely the easiest and laziest way to prepare corn on the cob. Note that the corn will continue to steam as long as its in the husk. So, if you dont plan on eating it right away, reduce the microwave time.

BTW, I like to spray my corn with soy sauce or Braggs Amino liquids. Sometimes I roll it in Ume Plum vinegar. Yum!
