Instructions: Heres a weird tip, I didnt think it would work, but it did. Make rice, however you like it. I made white rice, cooked with chopped fresh garlic in the water, then when it was done I added some crushed hot peppers, galangal (like ginger sort of) and fish sauce. Then put it in a bowl or casserole that has been lightly oiled or sprayed. Cover with a paper towel and microwave on high for about 13 minutes. Yes, thats not a typo!
Thirteen minutes. It will get brown and crusty and crunchy, but not burned. The only problem is, at this point its kind of stuck in crunchy sheets so its hard to mix things like vegetables into it. Email this Recipe:
