Instructions: Heat butter in large heavy skillet until melted. Saute onion, green pepper, garlic and oregano in butter until tender. Season to taste with salt and white pepper. Remove from skillet. Cut sausage into halves lengthwise but not all the way through. Flatten sausages. Fry sausages in skillet until browned on both
sides. Add additional butter, if necessary. When sausages are browned spoon over reserved vegetables. Cover and simmer about 10 minutes, or until sausages are done. Serve sausage pieces on bun with onions and peppers. Makes four servings. Email this Recipe:
