150 gm streaky bacon diced
3 sm onions quartered
200 gm kohlrabi or turnips diced
200 gm carrots sliced
2 x leeks sliced
2 x red peppers seeded and cut into strips
450 gm peas
300 ml pint stock
Instructions:
Instructions: Fry the bacon in a pan until the fat runs.

Add the onions and cook them in the bacon fat for 5 minutes stirring.

Add the other vegetables and the stock.

Season with salt and pepper cover and simmer over a gentle heat for 30 minutes.

Adjust the seasoning with salt pepper sugar and Tabasco sauce.
