Instructions: Sift together dry ingredients into mixing bowl. Cut in shortening until like coarse meal.
Mix together egg and milk; add to dry ingredients and mix with a fork until dough holds together. Turn dough out onto floured board; knead lightly with floured fingers. Roll dough out to 1-inch thick; cut with floured biscuit Bake 8 minutes at 450 F. Makes 24 biscuits Email this Recipe:
