Instructions: Combine all ingredients in a 3-5 quart saucepan and simmer 25 minutes. Put into sterilized warm pint jars leaving 1/4 inch space at the top. Process in a steam canner or boiling water bath for 10 minutes.
makes 3 pints. To use: pour 1 pint into an 8 inch baking dish and cover top with pastry. Bake at 400 for 12-15 minutes until brown and serve warm. Email this Recipe:
