1 tsp sugar
6 tbl sunflower oil
10 x black peppercorns
4 x star anise
2 med onions chopped finely
2 tsp ginger minced
2 tsp garlic minced
8 tbl tomato puree
300 gm lamb minced
150 gm (Soz) green peas shelled if fresh or frozen
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp garam masala powder
2 tbl coriander leaves chopped
salt
Heat a kadai or wok and add the sugar.
Instructions:
Instructions: When the oil is hot add the pepper and star anise and fry for a minute.

Add the onions.

Fry until golden then add the ginger and garlic.

Stir a few times and add the tomato puree.

Cook until the oil separates.

Then add the mince greer peas powder spices and sit.

Cover and cook on a low heat until the lamb is done.

This dish should be served hot garnished with the chopped coriander

Kheema Mutter is especially popular with Punjabi and Sindhi communities. This dish could be served with rice rotis or even pasta.
