Instructions: Cream butter and cream cheese. Add flour and salt; beat at low speed of an electric mixer until mixture is blended. Gradually stir in milk. Cover and chill dough 1 hour.
Roll dough to 1/4 inch thickness on a lightly floured surface. Cut dough with a 1 3/4 inch heart-shaped cookie cutter; place on lightly greased baking sheets. Bake at 400 degrees F. for 6 to 8 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove cookies to wire racks to cool. Spread about 1 teaspoon mincemeat onto bottom side of half of cookies; top with another cookie, top side up. Sprinkle lightly with powdered sugar. Yield:1 1/2 dozen Email this Recipe:
