2/3 cup All-purpose flour
1/4 tsp Baking powder
1 tsp Ground ginger
1/4 tsp Baking soda
1/4 tsp Ground cinnamon
3/4 tsp Ground cloves
1/8 tsp Salt
1/2 cup Dark molasses
7 tbl Vegetable oil
1/2 tbl Dark corn syrup
1/4 tsp Grated orange rind
1/3 cup Sifted powdered sugar divided
1 x Egg
Instructions:
Instructions: Combine first 7 ingredients in a bowl; stir well, and set aside.

Combine molasses, oil, corn syrup, and orange rind in a large bowl; beat at medium speed of a mixer until blended. Add 1 cup powdered sugar and egg; beat until well-blended. Stir in the flour mixture. Cover and freeze 1 hour.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Coat hands lightly with cooking spray, and shape dough into 48 (1-inch) balls. Roll balls in remaining powdered sugar, and place 2 inches apart on baking sheets coated with cooking spray. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 minutes. Let cool 2 minutes or until firm. Remove cookies from pans, and let cool on wire racks.

Yield: 4 dozen (serving
size: 1 cookie).
