Instructions: Cream sugar and Crisco. Add egg yolks, one at a time. Beat well. Add flour, salt, and buttermilk. Beat egg whites and fold in gently. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes in an Angel Food cake pan (tube pan).
