Instructions: Beat together until well creamed: lard, sugars, eggs, buttermilk and vanilla

Sift together: flour, salt, baking powder and soda.

Add milk and dry ingredients alternately to creamed mixture, beating well after each addition. Drop on greased cookie sheet and bake at 350degrees.
