Instructions: Place beans and salt in a saucepan; cover with water. Bring to a boil; boil for 2 minutes. Remove from the heat; cover and let stand for 1 hour. Drain, reserving liquid. Combine beans, 1 cup liquid and the remaining ingredients in a greased 2 1/2-qt baking dish. Cover and bake at 350 for 1 1/4 hours for until beans are tender, stirring occasionally (add additional reserved liquid if needed).
