Instructions: Stiffly beat the egg whites and set aside. Cream butter and sugar. Add egg yolks. Sift flour and baking powder together and add to sugar mixture alternately with milk. Add vanilla. Fold in egg whites. Bake in a greased and floured tube pan at 325 degrees for 70 minutes.
