Instructions: In bowl combine flour, baking powder and salt. Stir in milk and eggs; beat well.
Cut each bread slice in thirds. Dip strips in batter and fry in 1/2-inch of oil in a large skillet, until golden on both sides. Remove, drain and place in shallow pan in heated oven until all are cooked. Serve hot. This recipe yields 6 servings. Description: "French toast at its finest.
