24 lrg seedless oranges or
1 gal orange sections
1 cup orange marmalade
14 cup orange liqueur

Here is all of the refreshing goodness of oranges zapped with an unexpected flavor boost from marmalade and orange-flavored liqueur. Served alongside or after the wedding cake, this dish is especially appreciated as a low-fat, luxurious treat.

Peel oranges removing all white pith. Cut each orange lengthwise into halves.

Cut each half crosswise into 1/2 inch half rounds.

Stir together marmalade and liqueur to make a thick sauce. Stir sauce into cut oranges. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Makes 24 servings.

Serving suggestions: Serve with short- bread, a chocolate cookie or vanilla ice cream on the side. The compote also is delicious stirred into plain yogurt.
