Instructions: Brown beef, onions and garlic in a large saucepan in a little hot oil.
Cover (barely) with hot water and a spoon of dehydrated beef stock or used home made beef stock. Cook in moderate oven in covered casserole dish about 45 min then add prunes and apricots. Cook slowly for up to 3 hours or until meat is very tender. Thicken with a little cornflour and water. Serve with rice. Email this Recipe:
