6 x oranges
1 x juice of 2 additional oranges
1 tsp /15ml sugar
1 x piece of cinnamon stick 2"/5cm long
Instructions:
Instructions: Juice one orange and put in a non-reactive sauce pan with the sugar and cinnamon stick. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to a simmer and cook, stirring, until the sugar is completely dissolved. Turn off the heat and add the juice of the second orange and the rosewater. Remove from the stove.

Peel the six oranges, taking care to remove all the bitter white pith. Slice horizontally into wheels about 1/8"/25mm thick. Arrange on a pretty platter. Remove the cinnamon stick from the orange juice mixture and pour the liquid over the orange slices. Refrigerate at least an hour or overnight before serving. Garnish with fresh mint leaves immediately before serving.
