Instructions: Cut tofu into 12 cubes. Dust lightly with cornstarch. Drop in deep fryer and fry in 1/2-inch of oil quickly until lightly browned. Arrange in serving bowl. Place grated daikon on top, then sprinkle with scallions and chopped ginger. Mix the soy sauce, water and sugar and heat. Pour around tofu in bowl.
