1/4 can mixed mushrooms drained
2 tbl margarine or butter
salt
white pepper
Custard
4 tsp flour
400 ml milk
4 x beaten eggs
9 x Swedish prince sausages or small frankfurters
Instructions:
Instructions: Chop the mushrooms and saute in the margarine or butter.

Season lightly with salt and pepper.

Transfer the mushrooms to a buttered baking dish.

To make the custard stir the flour with part of the milk to a smooth batter.

Bring the remaining milk to a boil stir in the flour mixture.

Cook for 3 minutes and then let cool.

Add the eggs and mix well.

Season with salt and pepper pour the batter over the mushrooms.

Bake for about 30 minutes in a 175 to 200 degrees oven.

Saute the sausages in a little hot margarine or butter and arrange on top of the casserole in the shape of a "star".

Serve with tomato sauce.
