Instructions: Cook the onions in half the butter for 10 minutes. Remove onions and reserve. Add the remaining butter and the mushrooms to the same pan and cook over low heat 10 minutes. Return onions to the pan and add the salt, pepper and paprika. Cook 5 minutes. Stir in the sour cream. Serve on toast or in patty shells.
