Instructions: Finely dice onion.
In a small fry pan, heat 20 gm of butter and gently cook the onion until soft and transparent, about 5 minutes. Dont brown the onions. Remove form heat and allow to cool. Soften the remaining butter in a bowl, add onions and remaining ingredients, stir to combine. Lay out a piece of foil, plastic wrap or baking paper and place butter along one edge, leaving 5 cm at each end. Roll up to form a cylinder and twist the ends to seal. Refrigerate until firm.
