1 cup V-8 juice
cup chicken broth
cup soy sauce
cup brown sugar

Instructions: Baste the chicken liberally, inside and out, place in pot, then pour remainder of sauce over it.

Well, we had Myrons teriyaki chicken for dinner tonight, along with a bag of stir-fried frozen oriental veggies and some rice. We had 2 adults, one 13-y.o. and a 4-plus pound bird. Results: enough leftover veggies to make lunch for one. Lots of leftover rice.
*Barely* enough leftover chicken to flavor the leftover veggies! And to get that much, I had to really pick over the carcass!! Im going to have to give this one an A+ and add it to the "favorites" list! (Im also going to have to use a bigger bird next time so I can have some left to munch on...)

I stuck a whole chicken into the crockpot, cavity upwards, and poured the teriyaki sauce into and around the bird. I started it off on high until the teriyaki started bubbling around the edges, then let it cook all on day on low. The meat fell off the bone! It was sooooo good!!!
